The band
Ian pont - lead singer
Frontman, lyricist, and powerhouse vocalist, Ian Pont is signed to Uniq Recording Artists and has already made waves with a solo album boasting over a million streams, alongside a string of successful singles. As the band’s principal songwriter, Ian blends his rich choral roots with a love for 80s pop icons like ELO, Duran Duran, and Spandau Ballet, while also drawing inspiration from The Script and the drama of musical theatre.
Beyond the stage, Ian is part of the Uniq Music Collective writing team, collaborating with renowned musicians, including Paul Moran of Van Morrison. His unique style fuses timeless influences with fresh energy, making him a dynamic voice and creative force at the heart of the band.
Suzanne Webster - Lead & Backing Vocals
Suzanne has been a powerhouse vocalist since the mid-80s, conquering live, studio, stage, and theatre. She’s starred in musicals, toured Europe, and worked with chart-topping artists, showcasing a genre-spanning repertoire from 50s classics to modern hits—soul, R&B, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and lovers rock. As a prolific songwriter, she’s penned and performed themes for TV, ads, and films, with her own music streaming on all major platforms. Now teaming up with Ian Pont of So True, Suzanne is gearing up to release fresh tracks—stay tuned!
Jane Hare - Lead & Backing Vocals
Jane is a vocal firecracker with funk in her soul and a stage legacy that started at age 5. From theatre kid to teen musical starlet, she hit her stride in the late ’80s as a powerhouse singer—and never looked back. Obsessed with the ’80s but raised on soul and funk, she’s been fronting big bands on the national circuit for over 30 years. Her sound? Think Aretha meets Stevie with a dash of Sade and a whole lot of groove. Career highs? Cutting tracks at Abbey Road and scoring a Virgin Records deal at just 17. This isn’t just music—it’s in her blood.
Sara Adams - Backing Vocals & Percussion
Choir leader & vocal coach. Influences are Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Eagles, George Benson, Luther Vandross, Barry White, Louis Armstrong, Sam Cook, Amy Winehouse
Kevin Wild - Bass Guitar
Played in a variety of original, pub and function bands during a music career that has spanned more than 40 years. Absolute bass fanatic. Several influences but has heart deep set in the 1980s.
Dean Moorcroft - Drummer & Backing Vocals
Worked with Abba tribute and Bee Gees tribute for twenty years supporting many top acts including Howard Jones, Boney M, Alexander O’Neil. Proudest moment was recording in Studio Two at Abbey Road
Dave Green - Saxophone, 2nd Keys, Bongos, Congas & Backing Vocals
Dave has spent most of his adult life involved in the music industry in one form or another. Originally starting off as a bass player, he discovered the ‘Devil’s Horn’ after an horrific accident while working in Spain almost ended his musical career forever.
Chris Malkinson - Keyboards
Keyboardist Chris has worked with some of the world’s biggest musical artists including Irene Cara (‘Fame’, ‘What A Feeling’), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) and the ‘Lost in Music’ touring show. As a member of The British Philharmonic Orchestra, Chris has played keyboards with international opera star Andrea Bocelli on five UK tours, performing at London’s O2 Arena, Manchester MEN, Liverpool Echo Arena and Belfast Odyssey. When not touring, Chris can often be found at the Fortnum & Mason department store in London’s Piccadilly, where he is resident pianist.
Tom McCabe - Lead, Rhythm & Acoustic Guitar
Self-taught guitar in early teens and played since then in multiple cover, function and original bands.
